Below are the steps that you need to follow to generate Youtube API key. Just follow the steps as mentioned in the article below to get API Key. If you face any issues during the process please check out the video at the end of this article for the same.
 

How Do I Get API Key for Youtube?

1). You need a Gmail account for this so if you don’t have one then you have to create an account.
 
2). Go to console.developers.google.com/apis create new project here by clicking on “Create New Project”.
 
3). Enter your project here. Project name can be anything that you want.
 
4). Now you will see API Key Library page, here you have to find Youtube Data API v3. Open & Enable it.
 
5). Open Credentials tab, you will find it in left side of you screen (check the image above).
 
6). Now click Create Credentials and select API key from drop-down. This will open up a popup window with your API Key you can copy this key & use it.
 
And that’s it now you got API key.
