First of all, get image slider plugin installed and activated on your blog. If you don’t know to install a plugin check out embedded video at the end of this post, video will help you figure it out.

Once you activate plugin, it will be automatically added to your wordpress menus (if you can’t find it, check under settings). Open plugin page, and create a new image slider. Name your slider and add all the images that you want to add.

add title and description text to slider images

After uploading images make sure you add title and description text to each image in slider. This text will be visible on images. You can keep title and description text fields empty if you don’t want any text to show on images.

Next step is to apply slider settings, check all setting options and set them as you want your image slider to look and behave. There are different setting options which include color, slider size, animation, navigation etc so make sure you check all of them.

Now copy slider shortcode and press publish button to save your slider.
